So Colorado was so fun. My sister's wedding was beautiful and she and Johnny are really happy together. They moved to California last week and will be living in San Diego now. They are pretty excited. Anyway, here's some pics from the event. Here's my side of the family who were at the temple.
Here's all three of us later that afternoon at the reception.
My sister loved Elli!! Whenever I would come into the room or join them at their cabin or anything, April always said, "Here, I'll take her." And then the cousins or other kids would come up and want to hold her and April would say, "No, it's my turn!!" And Elli loved cuddling in April's neck. I have no idea why but she would always nestle her head in April's neck and April loved it. April and Ben have two kids but I'm pretty sure April wants more. They don't have room right now until they build a house but she wants another so bad. I think Ben is just fine having their two boys and that's it. We'll see what happens.
Here's Elli and Robin. She had a ball with her too!
Before the reception really got rolling, Elli was so cranky and tired. My dad asked to hold her and he just sang really low to her while she stared at him. It was pretty cute. She quickly fell asleep and he was pretty proud of himself.
Here's my niece Camille, who's 11, and loved holding Elli. She and her older sister Aubrey, were always fighting over who got to hold her. It was fun for me to be able to visit while Elli was being entertained. I wanted to take them both home with me for the summer.
Shannon and Johnny cutting the cake.
The day after the wedding, all of the family (aunts, uncles, cousins, g-mas and pas, kids, babies, etc) went to the mountains by some lakes and rented some cabins for a couple of days for a family reunion. It was ALL of the family on my mom's side. We haven't all been together in a LONG time. We don't normally all get together for weddings but decided to do it this time because Shannon's wedding was in the summer and it was just a good time for everyone. One of my uncles paid for a lot of the family in CA to come out and rented their cabins for them. It was fun to have everyone together.
My cousin Cassie (Katie used to go to primary with her. Right Katie?) playing kids songs on the banjo for all the kids.
Playing some circle games.
4 generations. My mom and her mom and me and Elli. This is my last living grandparent. Everyone took a lot of pictures with her that night. She had a stroke a few months ago and has lost a lot of her memory but won't admit it. It's sad to see her get so old. But we were all so glad she was able to fly over from Hawaii.
Once again, Elli with aunt April. She was always snuggling her!
The next day, we took the canoe out and the kids had a blast. We had perfect weather the whole time and the scenery was beautiful!
Anyway, that's it. Hope you enjoy the pics. I'm glad to be home and so is Steve. He was a little lonely after he came home to an empty house and was by himself for a week. Poor guy.......I bet he's not missing me anymore with all of the little things I ask him to do!! ;o)
Happy 4th everyone!
Love you!

YAY!!! Ashley is back!!! :) Ashley you look SO beautiful in those pictures! What a fun time! So glad to hear the wedding went well and what not...and how fun to have the whole family together. So that picture of Cassie...before I read what you wrote about it I was staring at her like...dang, she looks so familiar. And then I read what you wrote and now I remember! :) We did use to go to primary together. We both lived in Canyon Country back in the day. I think we figured that out once when I met her a couple years ago? Anyway, SO good to see you back and to hear about your trip and to see so many pictures!! YAY!
You look Gorgeous! I love that dress. i want to see a full view of it! And Elli is darling like always. I am so glad it all went well. YOur sisters are all so cute with her. I am glad you got the outfits. Love ya!
Ash it was so good to see you post again...I thought maybe you were pulling a Bobbie trick. Yes, I did know my roommie before. She is in grad school at ISU, but she left on Monday, so I'm flying solo now. The guys are fun...and surprisingly they haven't run off because of my Master's which is a good thing. The other guy left for Boise for the summer so pretty much it's just me and Abram and he's pretty cool. Well it was good to hear from you!
Love ya,
Bobbie
