Conference

Bryson and I were FINALLY able to go to conference. We've been wanting to do this forever and finally got some tickets from our bishop and were able to go to the Saturday morning session. What an amazing experience! First of all the conference center is just huge and it's so neat to be sitting in the same room with 20,000 some odd other people who share the same beliefs as us. I don't know, I thought that was so cool. In fact, it brought me to tears when we all sustained the prophet and all of the apostles, it was just an overwhelming feeling for me to be among so many other people who sustain such wonderful men as well. Anyway, and then it's also amazing in just the whole being so near to the prophet. I personally have never been in the same room as the prophet and that in itself was something else. I'm sure everyone knows how when he walks into the room the whole room stands and goes absolutely silent and to be in a room with 20,000 people and for it to be absolutely silent...how can you NOT feel the spirit. It's like the only thing moving at that moment. It was amazing. Plus we had some pretty good seats, so that was neat to be so close. We weren't on the floor level, but we were like the sixth row back on the next section back, pretty much on the floor. And conference itself was wonderful...i hope each of you had a chance to watch it. Anyway, Bryson and I just had a wonderfully spiritual time. One we won't forget. Here are some pics:
