Okay, we went to the doctor last week for Elli's 2 month appt and she is now 12 lb 11 oz!! Wowsers!! And she is 23 1/2 inches long. Her height and weight are both in the 90th percentile. At least she is the same in both areas so she is proportional. :o) Oh and guess what?? We had a major calendar entry yesterday. Elli giggled and giggled. It was so cute!! Let me tell you how it all went down because this is so monumental for me. Elli was in her swing watching me do a kickboxing video. About halfway through she was getting cranky and just got worse and worse. I kept going to her and giving her the binky and she'd quiet down for a minute while I did another set of "kick, punch, upper cut"!! :o) hahaha By the time I finished, she had had enough. So before I did the cool down, I went and got her and she quieted down right away. So I had Elli in my arms while I was trying to cool down. Some of the moves for the cool down are a little bouncy and when I started bouncing the first time, I heard her making noises so I looked down and saw that she was really happy. Then when I did it again, I realized she was full out giggling. I kept doing it over and over and she just laughed and laughed. Oh my gosh, I was in mommy heaven!! And wouldn't you know that I kept doing the same move way more than the video was and then she got bugged and gave me the crustiest look like, "Don't overdue it mom......I've given you enough smiles for one day!" Anyway, sorry so much detail but I just had to share!! Here's my little monkey in her bear pjs that are too big. She's waving hi to you guys!!
My sister Jodi made her this little hat and sent it to us. So fuzzy and cute!!

Oh gross!! Elli has been having so many huge nasty blow outs lately. Melissa told you of one of the times at church while Melissa was holding her and she leaked all over Melissa's skirt. Sorry again Melissa!! Anyway, I was scrubbing poop every day. I thought parenting was a little more diverse but no, just poop scrubbing!! So now, we have moved up to a size 2 diaper and "oila" no more spills. (Is that how you spell oila?? You guys know what I mean right?) So my advice, "Don't follow the weight guidelines on the diaper packages." The size 1's are supposed to work until 14 pounds but not with Elli. When you have more than 2 blow-outs a day, it's time to move on!!

So hey, thanks Melissa for posting all of those other pictures from when you and Donald came up. That was a lot of fun. All are welcome to come. You can even sleep in Elli's room/living room. It's nice and cozy here in our one bedroom apartment!! Hopefully we'll be moving in April.
Oh and Katie, guess who I saw on Sunday? Well, I was sitting in Stake conference in the very back of the overflow/gym area. I wasn't paying too much attention to who was around me because Elli was a little fussy and hungry. Towards the end of conference I look across the isle and notice another little baby a little older than Elli. I notice the girl holding the baby has blonde hair and then she begins to look a little familiar to me. I don't want to stare but my gosh it looked like Jennie Orme.....Okay not Orme but I can't remember her last name. As I kept staring, she turned her head a little bit more and I realized it was her. And the baby was Avery. I waited until she looked over and I waved at her. Sorry for the distraction to everyone around us but I was so surprised to see her. I talked to her afterwards and she said that she and Tyson were helping out on Tobey's house. I asked where in the heck you were?!! Oh my gosh, you better come next time!! Anyway, it was fun to see her and Melissa there and those cute little girls!! Okay, I don't know why I have to make everything story-time but I don't want to tell you guys everything in just one sentence. Boring!!
Oh Robin...about Aspen village. It kinda sucks!! Like Melissa said, there's mold everywhere...but that was more in the winter. Maybe summer is a bit better. It is a bit cheaper but kind of far from all the social things that go on. I don't know....we had a lot of fun up there but I think we made it so.
And Bobbie....look at the rumors flying about you and Rulon. You better get on and set us all straight!!

Ashley, I love the pictures! That is awesome she laughed that much! That is so fun she laughs that much because it makes those hard times seem worth it!
And Katie, I didn't know your sister already had a baby? Where have I been? You need to post pictures. And Robin-where is your belly pictures. And pics of your brother? Bobbie where are you? And seriously we all need to know the update with Rulon?:)

Oh how funny, Melissa, Jennie (or is it Jenny) didn't have a baby. Avery (I think that's her name) is Tobey and Melissa's youngest girl. She was just holding her. Sorry for the confusion.
Oh, and I just read my entry again and realized that I made a whole big deal about Elli laughing but I didn't really mention that it was the FIRST TIME she has ever giggled. She has smiled tons and made many sounds while smiling but never full on laughing. Anyway, just had to explain.

PS I thing! I was thinking about what Ashley said about Aspen-It was really fun there and if I would have not lived there I would have never met you Ashley! So there was a reason for the moldy cheap apartments we lived in! But we did have a ton of fun. it is what you make it. BUT there still was mold;)
YAY!!! I am SO glad to see another post. I seriously check this thing like...probably like five times a day...I know, I sound pathetic, but mind you...I work from home on my computer everyday, so whenever I need to take a quick break from my monotonous typing I check all the blogs (this one, my family's, my cousins...Melissa, you've created a monster with these blogs and my family). ANYWAY...so I check it all the time HOPING to see more blogs...and YAY, finally a new blog and more pics of Elli!! I LOVE IT!! Ashley...I want to go up to Idaho SOOO bad and visit you and Elli and Steve and Tobey and Melyssa and all the girls, etc etc., but unlike Jenny and Tyson...we don't have the money to take trips every weekend! :) Or even just one weekend. BUT..we will get there...soon enough. We're just waiting to hear back from Idaho, so we're hoping to be up there in April for summer or no later than Fall...that's the hope at least. And then you'll wish you never asked me to come up because you'll be so sick of seeing me all the time because I'll be coming over to your house every day! :) Ok...when I come up we should do kickboxing together! Woo Hoo for upcuts and jabs!!! Um...your baby is adorable...seriously! Oh, my mom is up visiting (she'll be up in Idaho this weekend helping on the house) and she was looking at the stuff on my fridge and she was like, "Oh my gosh this baby is adorable" Pointing to Elli's pic on my fridge. I was like, "That's Ashley's" She was like, "That is the CUTEST baby!" I agree! So, yeah, Melissa, Jenny was holding my brother Tobey's baby...and yes, Avery is her name. BUT...don't tell her I told you guys, but they are trying to get pregnant too. Everyone is...maybe someday we'll join in on the fun! :) Maybe sooner than later with all these cute babies surrounding me! :) OK...now I'm making a novel...what can I say Ashley and I are one in same in this catergory...why say it all in one sentence? Boring! ;) Ok...I am in agreeance with everyone else and I'm dying to see pics of prego Robin. And really, Bobbie...whatever happened to you coming to Utah? Ok...gotta go....love you all!!!
I just wanted to tell you katie and Ash that I love your novels. i never can think of that much to say so I love reading your novels! So don't stop them! Oh, I also wanted to say i love the last 2 pictures of elli with her daddy and mommy! she looks so dang cute and ashley-i think she looks like you. I know i have said she looks like steve but I definetly see you in her! And her eyes are definetly yours! I love it! I can't wait to see you again! We all need to plan a "Ricks Reunion"! A little girls retreat! We could meet like here in utah or Idaho! Maybe after Robin has her baby or even before if you are going to be up this way Robin! Let us know! I miss you all!
Oh and Katie I am with you on checking our blog liek 50 times a day! Every time I get on the internet I always check my 5 blogs and then I look at what I need to! I love blogs! They are the best things ever! Katie email me your families blog. I would love to see! And ashley email me your families site too!
