My chunky Monkey!!

Okay, we went to the doctor last week for Elli's 2 month appt and she is now 12 lb 11 oz!! Wowsers!! And she is 23 1/2 inches long. Her height and weight are both in the 90th percentile. At least she is the same in both areas so she is proportional. :o) Oh and guess what?? We had a major calendar entry yesterday. Elli giggled and giggled. It was so cute!! Let me tell you how it all went down because this is so monumental for me. Elli was in her swing watching me do a kickboxing video. About halfway through she was getting cranky and just got worse and worse. I kept going to her and giving her the binky and she'd quiet down for a minute while I did another set of "kick, punch, upper cut"!! :o) hahaha By the time I finished, she had had enough. So before I did the cool down, I went and got her and she quieted down right away. So I had Elli in my arms while I was trying to cool down. Some of the moves for the cool down are a little bouncy and when I started bouncing the first time, I heard her making noises so I looked down and saw that she was really happy. Then when I did it again, I realized she was full out giggling. I kept doing it over and over and she just laughed and laughed. Oh my gosh, I was in mommy heaven!! And wouldn't you know that I kept doing the same move way more than the video was and then she got bugged and gave me the crustiest look like, "Don't overdue it mom......I've given you enough smiles for one day!" Anyway, sorry so much detail but I just had to share!! Here's my little monkey in her bear pjs that are too big. She's waving hi to you guys!!

My sister Jodi made her this little hat and sent it to us. So fuzzy and cute!!

Oh gross!! Elli has been having so many huge nasty blow outs lately. Melissa told you of one of the times at church while Melissa was holding her and she leaked all over Melissa's skirt. Sorry again Melissa!! Anyway, I was scrubbing poop every day. I thought parenting was a little more diverse but no, just poop scrubbing!! So now, we have moved up to a size 2 diaper and "oila" no more spills. (Is that how you spell oila?? You guys know what I mean right?) So my advice, "Don't follow the weight guidelines on the diaper packages." The size 1's are supposed to work until 14 pounds but not with Elli. When you have more than 2 blow-outs a day, it's time to move on!!

So hey, thanks Melissa for posting all of those other pictures from when you and Donald came up. That was a lot of fun. All are welcome to come. You can even sleep in Elli's room/living room. It's nice and cozy here in our one bedroom apartment!! Hopefully we'll be moving in April.

Oh and Katie, guess who I saw on Sunday? Well, I was sitting in Stake conference in the very back of the overflow/gym area. I wasn't paying too much attention to who was around me because Elli was a little fussy and hungry. Towards the end of conference I look across the isle and notice another little baby a little older than Elli. I notice the girl holding the baby has blonde hair and then she begins to look a little familiar to me. I don't want to stare but my gosh it looked like Jennie Orme.....Okay not Orme but I can't remember her last name. As I kept staring, she turned her head a little bit more and I realized it was her. And the baby was Avery. I waited until she looked over and I waved at her. Sorry for the distraction to everyone around us but I was so surprised to see her. I talked to her afterwards and she said that she and Tyson were helping out on Tobey's house. I asked where in the heck you were?!! Oh my gosh, you better come next time!! Anyway, it was fun to see her and Melissa there and those cute little girls!! Okay, I don't know why I have to make everything story-time but I don't want to tell you guys everything in just one sentence. Boring!!

Oh Robin...about Aspen village. It kinda sucks!! Like Melissa said, there's mold everywhere...but that was more in the winter. Maybe summer is a bit better. It is a bit cheaper but kind of far from all the social things that go on. I don't know....we had a lot of fun up there but I think we made it so.

And Bobbie....look at the rumors flying about you and Rulon. You better get on and set us all straight!!

Idaho

Well, Me and Donald just got back from a wonderful weekend in Idaho! We had a little extra money from our tax return and so decided to get away for this weekend and go and see Ashley, Steve and Elli! And I just have to say Elli is PRECIOUS, ADORABLE, BEAUTIFUL, SWEET, and stole my heart! Her dimples are just like her mommy's! And her eyes are just gorgeous and she loves to open them big! Oh, man! I love her and we had the best time up there this weekend. So, here are a ton of pictures of her! My mom made this towel for her.

This is me and Donald. We took him to BIG JUDs and yes he did the challenge and was sick all weekend. And we found out that they still take your picture but after so long they take them down. So, what is the point anymore.I was up there from my freshman year and steve was up there before his mission for the double! I was excited to show my husband I did it but was disappointed. So, really all you get now is the sickness following the big meal!!! ! But here we are eating.

I have seen dad's be very unhelpful and it was good to see a daddy help and not even blink an eye at helping or a changing a poopie diaper! Ashley he's a keeper!

I have got to be the most lame-o of us all!!!

Okay, why was that so hard for me to figure out?? I could not get gmail to let me open up an account. Ugggh....what a dumb head. And I thought I could figure out things like this. I'm pretty sure it was the system's fault, right??!! Anyway, this new email and password work even better. Thanks!! You cute little M&M's. I like that! I just want to eat you all up. Okay, maybe because I have been eating no sugar and now I want some. Yeah, you read it right, no sugar. Bummer, eh? It's okay, I'm trying to get rid of Elli's incubation insulation (or better known as belly fat). So Steve is doing it with me and we only eat sugar on date night - friday! We've stuck to it so far.....about 3 weeks. Wish me luck!!

Anyway, my parents left a few days ago and it was nice to have them here. They were here for the blessing, which turned out really nice. We decided not to have a party afterwards like Steve's family is accustomed to and they about crapped their pants. During the week before the blessing, his aunts called on random and different days asking what they could bring for the luncheon. I was like, "What luncheon?" They figured we were having them all over for a party afterwards like they do in their family. Nope. Not the Rexburg Johnston's!! :o) Anyway, We told them we weren't doing that and I think they were all a little surprised. So we just hung out with my parents and it was nice to have them here. So here are some pics of little Elli.

These 2 are in her blessing outfit. We didn't take any of all three of us (which I am sad about) because Steve had a meeting after church and didn't come home until after Elli had had enough and wanted out of that dress, into some jammies, and layed down for a nap. Anyway, my mom made the little blanket which I thought turned out pretty cute.

So you know how babies like to be swaddled really tight with their arms secured inside the blanket?? Well, not this baby! She gets so mad when her arms are pinned down and wiggles her arms out of the swaddle and slips them up by her face. She must have done this in my belly and now likes it no other way.

This next pic is right before her bath one day. I guess she was pretty excited!!

And this pic is right after the bath. And if you can see my knee in the picture......no I'm not naked. I have shorts on that are coming up. But when I saw that I laughed because all you can see is my bare arm and my bare knee. Ooooohh......scandalous!!

Okay, so this pic has no story behind it or anything spectacular to say about it. I just think it's a cute one of her chillin' in her boppy.

Now that she's a bit older, I like putting these on her head. I might be going a little overboard, but hey, she's only 7 weeks once!! ;o)

Here's another headband. This was the week before at church....her first time there. She looks a little scrunched because she was wiggling in Steve's hands. And no, I don't normally put her in mini skirts!! The dress is just riding up. :o) hahahaha!!

Anyway, enough headbands and cutie girlie outfits and smiles!! I just can't get enough of Elli so I wanted you guys to see her too!! She is finally getting better from all the gas problems she was having. Momma's girl, eh?? Anyway, she still gets gassy but not nearly as bad. I think her digestive system is finally getting used to everything.

Hey Melissa - Thanks for fixing everything. Even after you sent that first email telling me how to sign up for an account, I still couldn't so it. Duh! Oh well. But thanks for your help.

Hey Katie....how is Bryson, by the way?? That infection sounds horrible. How did he get that? Are you sick at all?? And you want to know something funny? You know how no one wrote on the blog for a while? Well, I would come on to check and Paige's video was always at the top.......so I would watch it each time I checked and laughed EVERY TIME!! I have watched that video about 15 times. No joke!! What a cute girl she is!! Anyway......

Robin, that tummy must be poking a little but by now.....where's the pics?? :o) We're WAAAAAIIIIIITTTTIIINNNNGGGG!! :o)

Hmmm...

It looks like it's working...let's hope so. Well, not much new here. I just thought I'd try to see if I could get this to work for me. I want to see pics of Elli and pics of Robin!! And we haven't seen pics of Bobbie or Melissa forever! So, everythings the same here. Bryson has had a REALLY bad viral infection that pretty much infected every part of him, it was in his eyes, chest, sinuses, throat...it was sad. It's been about two weeks now and he's just barely starting to get better. Poor guy. Well, while we were in Cali we took family pics at a park and this is the Fish Family pic. :) And then the other night I was bored and found this website where you can make an M&M to look like you. So that's Bryson and I....yeah, I know...who knew I was a princess!?! :) Anyway, I hope all is well and hopefully everyone can get this thing figured out and get posting soon. Hey Melissa...is there anyway we could all use the same google account? Like for my family's blog on this I just made one google account that we all use for the blog?? Is that possible? It might be easier for everyone...maybe... Like if we could use idahofriends as the google account and keep the same password, just turn it into a google account. ??? Just an idea. Ok...talk to you all later!!
