I really am so sad to put those adorable pics of Elli below me, but it must be done! If I could stick my blog somewhere in the middle I would. Anyway, HI!! I'm alive! It's Katie, remember me? :) Well, it's like 7:30 in the morning and who would have ever thought I'd be up this early in my life?? But I am! And I feel great! I'm going to this Step Kick Kardio (that's what the class is called, not my stupid spelling!) at BYU every MWF from 6 to 7 IN THE MORNING!! And then I'm doing Yoga every TTh at night and Saturday mornings! It's time to get in shape!! WOO!! Well, in my Step Kick Kardio class it's a mix of step, kickboxing, pilates, and more and it switches off each day. Anyway, this morning we did kickboxing and it totally reminded me of Ashley doing her Tae Bo!! **upper cut**jab**kick**kick** haha, Anyway, it was a lot of fun! And then Bryson and I had been going running every night (until I started the yoga class at night)...I swear guys, the next time you see me...I'm going to be like the next...like female Richards Simmons or Kathy Smith or...I can't think of any other famous exercise people. Well, besides my new found love of exercising...nothing new or big or exciting going on here. Well, actually I guess if you consider Bryson dropping out of BYU Provo big...YEAH, Bryson's done with BYU Provo. After much thought and prayer and consideration, we decided it was silly of us to pay ($2500+) on schooling when he's not really getting anywhere right now. So he is deferring this semester and just working for now (at the MTC right now, but we're seeing if he can get a full time job else where) and then who knows what we'll do. We're going to try to get back into BYU Idaho, however, we both have more than the maximum credit limit for returning or transferring students. So we're going to have to put up a fight. They said that I have a better chance of getting in cause I don't have quite as many credits, but Bryson will have to fight for it. However, we feel that if they just hear us out (which they will), they'll understand that he hasn't been just playing here, but really working hard to get into a program that is just being stupid....Anyway, so we are really hopeful that they'll understand. Keep us in your prayers. Cause if we don't make it back into BYU Idaho, we don't really know what we're going to do. There is always the option of staying here or going to Vegas, but we really really feel good about going back to Idaho...so...yeah, that's what's new here. Um, what else? Typing is going well for me. I picked up some typing on the side for another company, so I'm getting more typing and keeping more busy. But still have my time to be with Bryson whenever I want to. It's really nice. Oh, one of my really good friends from California moved up here with her husband, so I finally have a friend!! :) She's actually going to the classes with me in the morning and the yoga class too. So that's fun. OH...my cousin Marissa is moving down here with her husband not this weekend but next weekend and I am SO excited!! Her husband got a job here at the hospital in Provo so they'll be nice and close! I've been house hunting for them since she is in Hawaii and her husband is in training in Salt Lake right now. It'll be fun to have her here. She's having her second baby boy in March. Um...that's about it with us. Oh, for those that knew my friend Casey...she just found out she's pregnant. So her and her boyfriend will be getting married in a month or so. That'll be fun, I'm happy for her. She's excited...or at least slowly getting there. It was a suprise, so she's still trying to get past the shock aspect of it. But they've been planning on getting married sometime soon, now just a little sooner than originally planned. Her boyfriend/fiance/father of her baby :) is a REALLY great guy, so it'll be good. What else? Well, Christmas was great!! We were able to go to California for Christmas and my WHOLE family (all bro, sisters, and spouses and children) was there, staying at my parents house, so it was crazy, but SOOO much fun! My neices have a new found love of Bryson and I was talking to my brother yesterday and he said that Paige (their first girl) asked if she could marry Bryson and Kennedy (their second girl) I guess is always asking where Bryson is and when he's coming over. And while we were there they were constantly wanting him to hold them and play with them...it was really cute. We all just had a great time. Christmas day was a lot of fun too cause we had a HUGE family get together with my moms side of the family and EVERYONE (all aunts, uncles, cousins and kids) was there as well so that was A LOT of fun too. And then we spent the whole week after that with my family, going to the movies, out to dinner, taking a train to Santa Barbara and riding bikes up and down the beach. It was just a lot of fun. And then we spent New Years with Bryson's family. So we had a great holiday week!! Anyway, this is becoming a HUGE novel! So, I'll post some pics and get off of this thing. Hope all is well with everyone!
Love ya,
Katie
Every Christmas Eve we get together with my Dad's family and all the kids act out the Nativity Scene while my Dad reads the story (when we were young, we all use to do it, now it's all of our kids, well those who have them)...Bryson got to be a part of it cause we didn't have enough little kids. My sister Heidi and my mom did too, my mom was REALLY excited because she FINALLY got to be a part of it, it was her first time!! It was cute. Anyway, this is the nativity scene:

This is Bryson and I Christmas Morning:

This is Bryson and I on the train to Santa Barbara:

We got these, well I don't remember what they're called, but these are the bikes we rented, one was a six seater one and then Heidi, her husband, Bryson and I rode a four seater one. It was SO much fun because we were racing and just having all sorts of fun:

The kids got a free ride in the front little basket thing and they could pull on the string and ring the bell, they had a lot of fun too! The first one is Cooper and Kennedy, the second is Jackson and Paige.

Bryson and I while riding...it was a lot harder than we thought it would be! :) We figured since there was four of us pedaling it'd be so easy, but it's tough stuff! But so much fun!

This is Bryson and Paige walking back from the beach:

Out on the pier, there was a sign that said Bryson and I couldn't be there...sad! :(

And this is us on New Years Eve:

OK....no more pics...sorry about so many pics and such a long novel! Okay, we'll an hour later, I better get some typing done! :) Take care!

LOVE YA!
Oh my goodness Katie....you're adorable!! I forgot how much you love to tell a long detailed story!! I love it!! Keep 'em coming!! And the kids are so cute. Oh my gosh, Jackson and Paige are so HUGE now. I couldn't believe that was them. They are so cute! And I love it that the girls love Bryson. Time to have his own little girl!! :o) Well, it looks like Idaho is calling your name.....GET UP HERE!!
Hey, that's good about Casey. I'm glad this guy is good to her. Is she excited about the baby coming or a little nervous? Anyway, good for her!!
And I am jealous about all the classes you are taking. I really NEED to do the same thing. But wouldn't you know that taking a baby to the gym isn't very fun?!?! I have taken her a few times and it is pure torture trying to get Elli in a car seat, first of all, and second of all....I feel so bad if she starts crying or fussing at the gym where everyone has to hear it. So I have to leave and it feels like a waste of time. I'm going to keep trying though because I need something to help shed the baby pounds....yuck!! Oh, and by the way, how is your heart? Does it still go funky and speed up and make you lose your breath? How is it working out? Is it better than before? I sure hope so!!
Anyway, glad you posted. Good to hear from you!
Oh, and that was me....Ashley!! I always forget to sign my name. Ooops!
