We are officially Rexburgians!

Well, we've made our move to Rexburg, Idaho and we couldn't be more excited! As sad as we were to leave beautiful Provo, we're excited to be back in the place where we met and first dated and enjoyed our first two years of college. PLUS...it's SO great to finally be back on track to finishing school. Not to mention...we LOVE our new place, we love being close to Tobey, Melyssa, and the girls, as well as being close to great friends we already have up here! We're just really excited about starting this new chapter of our lives.

The move went rather smoothly. I, of course, stressed too much about it, but it went really well. My cousin, Marissa and her husband, Junior, were HUGE helps in getting us packed up in Utah. Junior came over Monday and he and Bryson had the whole apartment packed in the Uhaul in 45 minutes!! It was amazing!! When Junior first showed up he asked where to start and I started pointing things out that needed to go in first. I turn around and he's got our big bookshelf thrown over his shoulder like it was no big deal. Oh the joys of having a Samoan cousin!! :) haha...it was awesome. So he and Bryson packed up real quick and finished just in time for the elders quorum to show up to an empty apartment ready to help. :) So the pack up went really smooth. Marissa came over later that day to help us clean the apartment and thank goodness she did cause it took way longer than we thought it would take. Tuesday morning we woke up, packed up the last few things and headed out. Once we got there, Tobey and Steve, were there to help us unpack, so the unpack went just as quick. And having friends and family here we've been taken care of as well during all this...Ashley and Steve fed us dinner Tuesday night and Tobey and Melyssa fed us lunch and dinner on Wednesday. Thanks to each of them!! We've been very blessed. Now, we're just trying to get everything unpacked and what not, along with working and everything, so we've been busy, but we're having fun!

I'll post pics of our new place soon once we get completely settled in! Hope all is well with everyone!

Ashley and Steve.....thanks so much for all your help!! The dinner was amazing we still keep talking about how good it was! (I really need to get that recipe!) And Steve thanks for all your help with the unpacking...next time we'll take into consideration moving into a second story apartment! :) THANKS AGAIN!! You guys are the best! We need to get together soon!

Colorado Springs

We went to Colorado Springs to see my sister graduate as a warrant officer in the Army. It was an awesome gradutation. And we had so much fun going around all the sights and spending time with my sister.
This is a chapel on base. It was pretty cool. They have all services there. This is all of us at 7 Falls.
And this is us outside Famous Dave's!! It was soooo good. They are famous for their ribs and man were they good!!If you haven't been-GO!

Nothing else is really going on. Just trying to recover from the trip.

Katie-I just realized that you are moving tomorrow and we never got to play Wii or even get together. I am so sorry. I guess I will just have to come up and visit!
Ashley-how is the bow business? Elli? We haven't seen pictures lately of her!
Robin-how is Shelby doing? How are you doing? Post some more pictures of that cute little girl of yours!!
And Bobbie-how is washington? Any news lately?

I hope all is well with everybody! Take care and post soon!

Love ya, Melissa

Green thumb?? You decide.....

They may not be thriving as well as our neighbors but we have finally got some tomatoes folks!! See for yourselves, there was even a red one that we got to pick 2 nights ago. Hooray!! It was delicious. Tasted just like the ones from my grandpa's garden. (And he was the master tomato planter!!) Anyway, here it is......

We both wanted to pick the "first" tomato so we took a picture as if we both were the first. Goofy, I know!

Shelby Pictures

Ashley I love the video. And your bows. I was checking them out today and am going to order some. They are so cute and it's such a great idea because you can't find any anywhere hardly. I've looked everywhere. I found a few at Dillard's which has the best selection I've found but they don't even have very many, and they're expensive. Anyway, nothing exciting is going on with us but I thought I'd post a couple more pictures. We just try to keep up with Shelby. She makes really cute noises now but every time I try to record her doing it she gets camera shy or something. Anyway, I was thinking that it's been awhile since we've seen Melissa and Bobbie's beautiful faces in pictures. Love you girls.

I know, I know.......

ANOTHER video!! I just can't resist sometimes. This just cracks me up.

She just got so excited while Steve was playing the guitar. Everytime he gets it out, she kinda bobs and flaps her little arms. Silly thing.

You know you have too much time on your hands when....

....you spend like two hours (or maybe more...but like I'm going to admit that!) on giving yourself a million makeovers!! My sister in law told me about this website where you can give yourself makeovers (hair and make up). She did a whole bunch and had a blast...so me being the girl that I am HAD to try it! :) And let me tell you....it was just too much fun I couldn't stop! So...before I head to bed (it's WAY too late) I thought I'd share my fun little experiments! Some of them are really just for fun so don't think I was totally serious on all of them! If anyone wants to give it a try the website is makeoversolutions.com Let me know what you think and which ones you like best!!!

Your SLACKER friend returned!!

Hi guys I love reading everyone's postings. Robin love the pictures what a cutie. Ash seriously you are so stinkin crafty. Meliss it looks like you had fun at girls camp...man those were the days. Katie I love your picture slide shows. Well things are going good for me here in Washington. I completed my externship two weeks ago, and then I went home for a week. While I was home I went on a date with a cowboy, and I know I should of felt right at home you know being from the woods and all, but I sure did not. It was so awkward I'm too much of a city girl to saddle up and ride a pony under the western skies. Needless to say it gave me something to do...I just don't think that there will be anymore dates with cowboy Joe. Work is going great. I work with so many crazy kids. I have seen things that I learned about in school and I was just certain that I would never see those in the real world...but their out there...and they are all in Wenatchee. I just love teaching organizational skills, time management and planning skills to kids when these are things I struggle with myself...maybe I should enroll in therapy. Things are going good...there are not a lot of dating options here for me...seriously I have two options...so one is bound to see how stinkin cute I am...and more importantly that I'm a comedian. Sometimes I wonder why I went into Speech when my true calling in life is crackin jokes! :)

It is good to hear from everyone...I will try to post more often...you would think that I have all this free time being out of school, but somehow time slips away from me!
I miss your guts!
Love ya,
Bobbie

Quick Rexburg Trip

So this past weekend we went up to Rexburg for a birthday party for Nikky Oswald (Zach Oswald's wife for those who know Zach). They'll also be moving to Tennessee so it was a goodbye party as well. It was a super quick trip, but a lot of fun. We got there Friday night around midnight, ate pizza and played Wii with my brother Tobey until 3:00 am. It was so fun! Then Saturday we slept in and then ate lunch at Garcia's in Idaho Falls with Tobey. Then we met up with the whole gang and pretty much spent the rest of the day with them playing frisbee golf, going to the mall and just hanging out. We had about an hour in between hanging out with them and the party at night where we were able to go back to my brother's house and see my nieces (they had just gotten home from a trip to Montana) so we hung out with them for just a short while and played some Wii, before heading back out with the gang for the birthday party, stayed out late again just hanging out and what not. Then Sunday we hung out with my brother et al before heading to church and then heading home. Ashley I really am sorry we didn't get a chance to stop by. We were going to during that hour or so that we had on Saturday but then my brother called saying the girls were home and wanted to see us so we ran over there for a little before we had to meet up with the group again. Anyway, I really did want to see you. But we'll be there in 3 weeks and then we can see you ALL the time! Okay, so here are a few pics from the weekend and then a video of some Wii fun. For anyone who hasn't played a Wii you really need to. It's just so fun! The first few videos are from a few weeks ago when Bryson and I rented this game...it had the most random little challenges, it was so funny! And then the rest are from this weekend playing it with my brother and sister in law and nieces, they are of everyone boxing, bowling, playing tennis or golf or baseball. You get the general idea of how fun it is! :) Melissa, we should get together before I leave and we can all play. And Ashley...get ready...cause we're going to have fun when we get up there! And everyone else....if you want to play, you need to either come to Utah in the next three weeks or go to Idaho after that and we can have a Wii partaaay! Hope all is well!
