Spring is here

I just have to tell you all how much I love spring! The tuplis are blooming, it is getting warmer but still cool at night, everything is beginning to turn green, Easter, and Conference. We took our YW to the broadcast last weekend at the Conference Center, and it was so gorgeous there! Being able to be there in the same room as our dear Prophet was wonderful and just a great start to springtime. I love Conference and being instructed by our leaders.
Here are a few pics I took while up there.

This is our tulips in our yard. We had a snowstorm 3 days ago and thought they would freeze but today they were all opening up to the sun! GORGEOUS!!!
This last picture is me and my friends from HS. We all went out tonight during the priesthood session to PF Changs. Don't worry Ash, we will still go next weekend too! I love that place!!

Anyways, I hope you are all doing well. Robin, where are you? Post some more pics. Like your nursery, or baby showers, or tummy shots. We want to see it all! Have you picked out a name yet. Or did you already post that and I just forgot?! :) Bobbie, where are you too? How is school? Life? Katie do you know about Idaho yet? Or what you guys are going to do? How is Brysons nose?

When are we all going to have a little reunion. I am seriously missing all of you. Robin are you coming up this way any time after the baby? Let us know!

Poor Bryson...

Well, on Friday night Bryson was playing basketball on his intramurel basketball team and towards the end of the game, Bryson faked a shot and the guy that was on him tried to block the shot but ended up whacking Bryson in the face pretty hard. His nose immediately started gushing blood. The dude broke Bryson's nose!!! It was so swollen!! And it looks as though it's slightly off to one side now. The doctor said that it didn't need to be reset though so maybe the off to the side thing will go away with the swelling. It's getting better now. Here is a picture of when it first happened....
And these were taken just today.....The swelling has gone down quite a bit, but now it's all discolored. (the pictures don't really do it justice)
Anyway, poor Bryson. He keep joking how he's going to have an Owen Wilson nose now....check out his vision of what he might end up looking like....haha.........

Ashley for your age! On your birthday I was seriously thinking we were 24 turning 25 this year! NOw I know what my parents meant when they said they forgot their age!

Anyways, I decided to post some pictures of what i have been up to lately. A few weekends ago we decided to take a drive on the other side of the lake because we had never been over there before. It was a gorgeous day so these are just a few pics of us that day.

These next few pics are when my inlaws came into town. We went to the Hunting expo and took my neice to Disney on ICe. We had so much fun with them and we finally got to meet our new niece Kaitlyn! She is soooooo adorable and her sister is very much adorable and loves to talk now!! I loved being able to spend sometime with them!

The picture is a little blury but it was fun being in aprons and waiting on the kids. We had an Etiquette dinner for the youth and all the leaders served the kids. They learned about etiquette and was escorted in by the boys. I thought it was really great and it was fun for me to be a "waitress". So here is me and my YW leaders.

California Trip

Hey girls! Well, I hate to push the long awaited Robin Pregnant picture down!! So Robin, be sure to post a new pic soon!! Anyway, here are a few pics from our trip to California this past weekend. We don't have too many pics from the wedding because Casey had us using her camera for a lot of the pics, but here are a few. We had a lot of fun. It was so good to see my sister and her husband and to be able to spend some time handing out with Jackson and Cooper. They are just the cutest little guys you'll ever see. The week was a bit stressful running around with Casey and what not and we had a huge fiasco trying to get my bridesmaid dress modest, but it all worked out and was all worth it at the end. Saturday was the wedding and it went just about flawless. The ceremony was lovely, Casey looked gorgeous and they are just the happiest couple, the dinner was great, although I couldn't eat much of it because I was SO nervous about the toast I had to give later! :) The night was filled with lots of dancing and just a lot of fun. It was a really great day/night! Anyway...enjoy the pics....

Ok, Ok Finally

Ok, I'm not sure if it was the boycott or the really scary face from Steve and Ashley but here's a stinking picture so I can still be part of the gang. It's not that cute but it is just for you guys. I made Jesse take it so I could put it on here. There wasn't much showing before but I'm definitley getting big enough now. If we take any more cute ones I'll put more on, I promise. That slide show is so stinking cute thought I hated to post above it. You'll have to do more of those Ashley, that is just too cute. She's adorable. Well things are going good. Yes our little one is still a girl and she is getting bigger and stronger every day. We don't have a name yet so any suggestions are welcomed. Ashley I need some tips on Elli's headbands. They are always so cute, how do I make them? Not much else is new with us. Jesse's super busy with work and school and I'm still busy with work. Everything is still going good with the pregnancy. Ok so this wasn't a very exciting post but I love you girls and couldn't stand the thought of being boycotted or any more mean faces glanced in my direction. Hahahaha....just kidding. We know, life is crazy sometimes. Especially while pregnant and tired! So when you finally get on here......let us know just how crazy that life is of yours. And how is your little one? Is she still a girl??

Katie - How is CA? Okay, I only know this because I have peeked at your family Blog, but isn't everyone out here in ID? And you went to CA and no one is there? That just stinks! Bad timing. Bummer.....but that's okay, you have a fun wedding to go to. How is/was it? And I am just going to stalk all the neighborhoods looking for your family (and Tobey's new house) so I can say hi to your mom and dad while they're here. Oh, and want to know something funny? Our neighbors that we are really good friends with.....well, they are the Grover's. And the husband, his name is Evan. (Okay, I sould like a commercial. Sorry.) Well, we started talking and somehow Tobey came up and that I knew him and Evan told us that he has been out to Tobey's new house to help him do siding or something. Evan is in construction too. Crazy huh? Okay, not that crazy but my world is so small right now that it seemed pretty exciting to me. Anyway.....I'm done.

So Melissa.......so it's me and you lately. That's okay, we'll keep this thing up and going. Maybe until Katie gets back (and Robin and Bobbie come out of hiding), I'll address everything to you. "So Melissa, here's a pic of Elli." "Well, Melissa, the sun came out today." And so on. How's that sound? Hey, how is the weather is Utah right now?

O my gosh, I forgot to tell you two Utahns something. You know my sister Shannon? The one getting married this summer? Well, she is flying out to Utah to look for a dress and my sister April and I are going to help her go dress shopoping. Yeah, so I'll be there. So, maybe I'll stop by and say hi. Okay, and if I don't please understand that Shannon might be a little cranky and so I might not be able to slip away. But that's okay because Steve and I really want to come down for a few days during his break. (April 9-13) So we'll see you guys then for sure. He's a little jealous that I am leaving next weekend for Utah and really wants to get out.....so we made a deal that we'll both come in April. Anyway, just wanted to tell you I'd be there soon. SooooooooooooooBobbie and Robin, are you available in a few weeks? We could make a party out of it. Oh, Katie, I guess you might not be there in Utah during Steve's school break because you might be moving here. YAY, let me know if you've heard anything!!

Where is everybody?

Where is everybody? We haven't been up to much. I am still just working and trying to get my body healthy so I can have a chance in getting pregnant. My body is still all wacked out. So we are not really sure what is going to happen. Donald is still at Wal-mart and starts school soon. He took a semester off because he was getting too burnt out. He is applying for the assistant program in June at work and so that will be wonderful for us!! I can't wait! I am still in Young Womens. I love it more and more everyday. These girls amaze me how strong they are compared to when I was that age.
On my other blog, we all graduated in 1999, and we all cannot believe that we will have our 10 year reunion in 2 years!!! I feel old. And when I was up at Ashley's, we realized it had been like 6 years since we lived together!!! Wow time has flown! But I am so grateful for each one of you and how we can live so far apart but all still be close!

Okay, I never shared pics of my new niece that was born in Feb. Here she is-Kaitlyn. She is the sister of the bottom girl-Kayleigh. And then here are just a few others of my pride and joy!! Kaitlyn

I couldn't help it......

.....but I just had to post some pics of Elli today. So we got these little leg warmers in the mail today that I just fell in love with. Aren't they just the cutest things ever?? Okay, I have a little too much fun playing dress up with poor Elli. She's a good sport though.

These are the other ones I got but don't match her little outfit but I wanted to show you anyway.

If you want to take a peek at the website, it's www.babylegs.net There are many different colors and styles. Way too fun! My g-ma sent money for Elli and that's the only way we justified buying these for Elli (they're a bit spendy) because she has enough clothes, onsies, and jammies. Anyway, they are stretchy and can be worn for a few years....up until she's a little girl. Anyway, just had to share!!

Here's one more pic......I was changing Elli's diaper this morning and realized I don't have any bare bum pictures. While having her diaper off for about 30 seconds, Elli peed on the couch. Dang it.....I am not quick enough (or smart enough to leave a diaper on)!! So during this picture...Elli is actually peeing right on our new couch. Silly baby!!

Look at those tight cheeks. It looks like she's flexing and actually trying hard to hold it in.......weak bladder!! ;o)

Fun Game

Okay...check out this game...see how well you know your states. This kept Bryson and I entertained for awhile. We played a couple times to see if we could do better. Our first try I got down to 6 states left and Bryson got down to 5.

Wish I had more to say...but I don't really. Nothing really new here. Still waiting to hear back from BYU Idaho and find out when/if we'll be making our way up there. Everyone keep your fingers crossed that this will work out for us. Other than patiently (or impatiently) waiting...we'll be going to California next week for my best friend, Casey's wedding. That's exciting! And stressful...plane tickets are not cheap! :) But we really are excited to be able to take a quick trip and get out of Provo for a little bit and spend some time with Casey and also with my sister, Heidi (who is pregnant by the way) and the boys. It'll be fun! Well, hope all is well! Take care everybody!
