I'm here, I'm here!!

Hey guys.......I'm back in the game now!! I explained in the comments of Katie's last post so refer to that if you want to know where the heck I've been. Okay, now brace yourselves. I have pictures to show you guys but beware...my middle is pertruding. Kinda weird...I know!! :o) So the first picture is of me at 25 weeks along. So a little more than 3 weeks ago.

Here is our last ultra sound of our little girl. It's a picture of an ultra sound so it's not that clear. But she's 23 weeks at the time and the doctor said she was about 12 inches long and about a pound and a half. Not too big yet. So this u/s is of her facem which is on the right side and her torso is on the left. And, yes you can go ahead and comment on her nose. I'm hoping it's just a bit smashed and she doesn't actually come out with a black nose.....ugghh!! :o) heheheeee

Oh, and Steve and I are thinking about calling her Elliana Grace Johnston. (And that's pronounced ELL-EE-AWN-UH. If you have suggestions for a better was to spell it, let me know. I have thought and thought about how it should and would be pronounced.) Then we'll just call her Elli for short. So where did I find the name Elliana, you ask??? Well, Katie used to babysit a little girl named Elliana in California and I always thought it was such a cute name. Then, Katie and I would always talk about how we wanted to name our first little girls, Elliana. It just stuck and now I am really going to be using the name. And Katie, my Elli better have a cute little Elli friend to play with one day!! ;o)

Okay, so since I have been pregnant, I have been having these weird motivations to sew different things. I'll post some of the things I have made. It's been too much fun. The first is this little clutchy/blankie thing. And yes, I cut a beanie baby in half to make it. But it's super soft and so is the material in the middle. So nice to touch and pet. And in case you're wondering, it is NOT and CANNOT be used like a bear rug. I was trying to explain it to my sister over the phone and she said it sounded like a bear rug she would play on or that we would mount to the wall. Grrr....what a brat!! :o) heheheeee But, after seeing the picture, did you guys get the idea?? The second is a cover for the swing. We got an old swing from my sister Jodi but it had this old 80s color-swirled design all over it. It was ugly. So I made a new cover for it. Steve said I needed to make it with neutral colors so our future "boys" could use it too and not be stuck in some pinky pansy stuff! The third pic is of her blessing dress. That was really fun to make but kinda hard to sew something that small. My fingers were too big to maneuver it at times.

Okay, I still have more pics. I hope you're not too bored. Steve and I drove to Washington and stayed there for 2 weeks to visit family. It was such a nice break to get away. This picture is me and Steve at Pike's Place, the old open market in downdown Seattle. Good thing my morning sickness is over or that fish behind us would have gagged me!!

Okay, enough photos. So, the update with us is about the same. We're just living here in Rexy. Steve has a new job at the hospital in shipping/receiving (which he loves so much more than Melaleuca) and I am subbing here and in Sugar City. It's pretty fun and I'm glad I have this semester to do it before little Elli comes.

Oh, and I heard from Christy and she had her baby. I don't know when she'll be on next so I'll fill you all in a little bit. They named him Bryson (Bryce) Joseph Darrington. He was born on Sept. 17th at 2:10 am. He was 8 lbs, 13 ozs and 22 inches long. She was more than a week overdue and WAY ready to have him. Everything happened pretty fast, once they got to the hospital, but I'll let her fill you all in on that and post pics herself. Pretty exciting though!!

Anyway, can't wait to hear more from everyone and keep this thing going!!

WOO HOO!!

I'm like becoming a blogging PRO!! Hahaha...watch out...I'm on post #2!! Hey girls! This really is such a fun idea! I wish we'd all update more often! Ashley and I were talking today on the phone and it just made me miss my Idaho days and all of you guys! So let's do this!! Um, I finally found the cord to my camera so I could download pictures. Not this past weekend, but the weekend before, Sept 16th ish, Bryson and I took a trip to Portland, OR for .....drum roll please.... Guy Givens wedding!! Yeah...I know...who would've thought! But it was so much fun! Quick....left Friday, drove all day Friday, wedding stuff all day Saturday, and drove back all day Sunday....but fun!! It was good to see Guy, Travis "T", Travis "Tex" and Zach and their wives, well, except for Travis "T". But anyway, I have some pics!! Not many our camera kept dying...so the pics are either blurry...or non existent! :) Anyway, I also thought since I could finally download pics I'd stick a few other ones on there. The first two pics are at Guy's wedding. First, Guy and his WIFE Amy. The second, the group. The next two are from our honeymoon. The first one is the view of our resort in Puerto Vallarta from our balacony! Can you believe it? We were blown away when we got there! The second is us in a cab in downtown Puerto Vallarta. Fun times! And then the last pic is my nephew, Jackson and I at an Aquarium here in Utah. My sis, Heidi Mae and her fam came up to visit awhile ago.
Quick update...well, there really isn't much. Oh to answer Melissa's question...it is not definite that we're moving in December. There is a possibility that we may be, but neither of us want to so we're trying to figure out some way we can stay here in Provo. We for sure should get together again!! Well, it was SO good talking to Ashley tonight and hope to hear from the rest of you real soon! I love you all!!

YEAH!!

I am so excited everybody is starting post! It is an easy way to all stay in touch and to share pictures of eachother! Where is the rest of you? Robin how long does Jesse have left in school? Where did you go camping at? Christy have you had your baby yet? Ashley where are you? How is the little girl coming along? Bobb-o Where are you? How is Pocatello? That is where you are at right? Katie are you for sure moving in December? We definetly should get together soon since we live so close!!
Well here are a couple pictures-the one is me and my cousin mimi-who most of you know-at her wedding and then the other one is of Donald at Lake Powell this past weekend. We went down and camped and swam! It was so nice to get away for awhile!

Ok Melissa, I think I finally figured this thing out. Hopefully the pictures go through. Katie it was so good to hear an update on you. Glad you are doing good. And I agree on needing pictures of pregnant Ashley. Hope everything is still going good Ashley. I am doing good. Jesse started school a couple weeks ago so he is busy with that and work. Work at USA Physical Therapy is still good for me. I still really love it. Well, as much as you can LOVE work. Anyway, Melissa I still think that this is the best idea for us to keep in touch. I love hearing about how all of you are doing. Here are a couple of pictures of Jesse and I. The first one is from the 4th of July, the next one is on our vacation/reunion in North Carolina, and the last one is of us camping this weekend. I love you all.

Melissa!! I am SOOOOOO jealous of you and your puppy! I want one SO bad! I make Bryson go to the pet store with me like once a week just to look at puppies! haha, pathetic I know. And what's even more pathetic is that I dream about puppies and getting puppies all the time. Ok, I probably shouldn't have admitted that one. Don't worry, one day I'll get a puppy and then all this obsessing over one can stop! :) Anyway, your puppy is so very cute!

Ashley!! Oh my gosh CONGRATULATIONS on finding out it's a girl! That is SO exciting! Do you know what you're going to name her? Post some recent pics of you and your cute little belly!

Christy!! I didn't even know your were pregnant! That's so awesome! Congratulations! Do you know what you're having? Maybe you already had it cause those posts were old. Either way congrats!!

Robin!! Where are you? And I just have to say THANK YOU again for coming to my wedding! You are the best!!

Now update on me...I'M MARRIED!! :) And SO SO happy!! I LOVE married life! I just love my life right now. I really never have been happier! We're living in Provo for the time being, but will most likely be making the move to Vegas in December after this semester which we're both torn about. But that's life. I'm just working at American Family Insurance selling insurance and Bryson is a teacher at the MTC and finally just quit his other job at a jewelry store yesterday so he can start school here in a couple weeks. And that's about it for me! I wish I had some recent pics to post, but ever since we've been married, we really don't take pictures of like anything. Sad. Oh, I have a wedding pic for all who want to see.
